So first of all - check kimi’s amazing version of Jean and Marco in polish folk costumes ,- I didn’t want to copy the idea with folk clothing, so I decided to show some of polish, well, ‘ways of living’? Or stereotypes? Yeah, sth like.
1. People of the mountains. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UYprCcjBz4 THIS. Tradition mixed with modern stuff.
2. Harcerstwo - polish version of Scouting.
3. Polish hooligans. :3 Translation (I’m not able to translate it properly because of a lack of swearwords in english):
J: “Legia (a football club) sucks”
M: “That’s not true!”
"If only I were SOLDIER…"

Someone suggested a while ago a picture of Marco carrying a drunk/sleeping Jean home and yeah. This happened.
My illustration to my au
Au is that Jean is surviving a shipwreck and is carried by sea to a shore of a strange island. Where there’s Marco, who came out of his village at night to see the shining plankton. And so Marco sees Jean, who’s lying on the beach unconcious and he helps him out. First he gives him some coconut milk, cause Jean’s thirsty. That’s why I drew that! OMG I just fell in love with this au.
P.s.: If you never saw I highly recommend googling “shining plankton”
